  • Provides broad liberal arts education and prepares students for professional goals

Minimum requirements to apply to a CSU are:

  • 2.0 GPA
  • Completion of A-G courses with a grade of C or better
  • SAT or ACT
  • Completion of application

Although these are the minimum requirements to apply, each CSU campus may have higher standards depending on the number and quality of applicants they receive each year.

  • Accepts High School Seniors and Community College Transfers
  • Mission of the UC: Research & Teaching
  • Professional Schools-Law, Medicine, Education, Engineering, Journalism, Social Welfare

Minimum requirements to apply to a UC are:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Completion of A-G courses with a grade of C or better
  • SAT or ACT
  • Completion of application including 4 personal insight questions
