Welcome back and Happy New Year! As we step into 2026 and launch into the second semester, it is time to reignite our Moonshot spirit and keep our momentum soaring toward the stars. To our Class of 2026 Seniors, the countdown has officially begun. Your time here at South Hills is precious and limited. While the finish line is finally in sight, I challenge you to stay locked in and finish strong. You have spent years building your legacy and now is the time to give it everything you have in the classroom, on the field, and on the stage.

We are riding a massive wave of pride following our incredible CAASPP success last year. With testing season just around the corner, we are getting ready to Show What You Know! Let’s prove once again that Husky excellence is not just a goal, it is our standard. This semester, I am asking every one of you to truly Fire It Up! as we head into a season of high stakes and high rewards. Whether you are preparing for the CAASPP, diving into your AP Exams, or tackling the rigorous IB Assessments, let that spark of passion be your guide. These exams are your opportunity to demonstrate the hard work you have put into our top tier instruction all year long.

We do not tackle these challenges because they are easy, we tackle them because we know that pushing ourselves is how we achieve the impossible. Our dedicated administrative team, Ms. Judy Quintanilla, Mrs. Erin Lippert, and Ms. Secoral Yanez, is fired up and ready to support you through every step of these final months. Let’s make the rest of the 2025-2026 school year legendary. Stay bold, stay connected, and as always, Fire It Up, Huskies!
